2005 Jeep Compass Rallye

The front fascia side trim and wheels/tires make all the difference from the production version. Why they could make this pre-production show version so finish-tailored and leave the on sale version so homely baffles me. The "smiley" bumper of the on-sale version is awful. A rallye version like this with the SRT-4 motor, and an upgrade interior for $25,999 would have given the competition fits. It looks like a slot car. An opportunity lost.
