1979 Jeep Jeepster II

AMC came up with this stubby sports car idea, the "Jeepster 2," in the early 1980’s. This concept was more Jeep-like (check the grille) than the Mustang-influenced XJ001. This would actually have been the third iteration of the "Jeepster" name, and Chrysler tried again in the 1998 at the Detroit Auto Show.
