TAG Function Car 1978, this "mobile executive suite" on the Eldorado chassis was built by Switzerland’s Franco Sbarro.
A coachbuilder who is not much met by most of the persons. The Swiss Franco Sbarro (shortly his history), designed for Cadillac in 1978, a very strange familiar variant and of big size, this is the call TAG Function Car, and he was standing out for having a very comfortable and wide interior, and for having six wheels.

This model is based on enormous Cadillac Eldorado of the 70s, as we see in the image, this was the whole office on wheels. An idea and style that could be interesting in his epoch, but that now does not turn out to be agreeable at all and producible.

Sbarro collaborated the French company Techniques dAvant Garde, to provide him with all the things that it has inside: the television, two phones, four quilted armchairs, an exclusive wood, lined in leather and two luxurious offices.

Incredibly this model sold at the end of 70s. Of 25 thought-out units, only 23 sold. This one measures 7.2 meters long and weighs three tons. The TAG had an engine 8.2 liters V8, where two wheels were moved by a potency of only 210 CV.

Sbarro is of doing this type of rare things, during all his history I always devote myself to create very complex and rare cars, and do redesigns of well-known models as ugly as we see in image. But since everything has his positive side, in future reports I will tell them his history.

Инициатором проекта выступил саудовский бизнесмен и владелец часового бренда TAG Джозеф Аджадж — он неожиданно разглядел в американской сухопутной яхте потенциал для превращения в офис на колесах. Внутри Function Car разместили четыре кресла, два телефона, столы, телевизор и места для пары секретарей. В итоге Caddy получился настолько тяжелым, что пришлось добавить еще одну ось.

Sbarro планировала выпустить 25 таких самоходных кабинетов, но кроме Аджаджа желающих на подобную экзотику не нашлось.
