Z-102 Spider 'Tibidabo' (chassis nº 150. 0118) was the first Pegaso body penned by F.Formenti and made by the Carrozzeria Touring.
The Tibidabo was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1952, and a year after traveled to New York Fair and there he stayed in Brewster Motors, the Pegaso official importer in the USA and ran several races. In 1957 ENASA, Pegaso main brand, brought it back to Spain, sold it in Madrid and was lost until 1982.
Note the “Pegaso lorry-look” grille design of that early styling exercise, shared only with her first Touring berlinetta sister, soon replaced by the characteristic ”cross” sported by later Pegaso bodies.
According the late Sig. C.F.Bianchi Anderloni, the funny windshield upper design evoques the famous S.Dalí wiskers... It was replaced the following month by a conventional design.
