Rezvani Beast (2024): 1,000-HP, Bulletproof Supercar

Американская фирма Rezvani Motors, известная прежде всего внедорожниками Tank на базе Jeep Wrangler, представила новую модель — суперкар Beast. В отличие от предшественника на шасси Ariel Atom, нынешний «Зверь» основан на среднемоторном Chevrolet Corvette Stingray и оснащен двигателем V8 6.2, форсированным до 1014 лошадиных сил и 1190 Нм крутящего момента. Шестидесяти миль в час (97 км/ч) купе достигает за 2,5 секунды, тогда как обычному «Корвету» на это требуется 2,9, а Corvette Z06 — 2,6 секунды.

Начальная цена Beast составит 485 тысяч долларов. С пакетом «007» выйдет 530 тысяч, но в оснащении появятся противогазы, система ночного видения, защита от электромагнитных импульсов, встроенные в дверные ручки электрошокеры, перцовый баллончик, магнитные замки и набор первой помощи при переохлаждении. Ещё за 55 тысяч на машину «наденут» легкую броню и поставят пуленепробиваемые стекла. При этом опознать исходный Corvette будет достаточно проблематично, если только по отдельным штрихам.

Внутри тоже всё не так очевидно. Главный элемент здесь, конечно же, руль-штурвал, форма которого разработана под вдохновением от рулей болидов Формулы-1. Отсутствует усыпанная кнопками перегородка между водителем и пассажиром, как у оригинального «Корвета». Для отделки использовано углеволокно и натуральная кожа. Запланированный тираж Rezvani Beast — 20 экземпляров. Судя по конфигуратору на сайте, покупатели смогут выбрать цвет кузова, колес, салона, а также выхлопных патрубков.

Performance

BEAST can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Its 6.2L Twin Turbocharged mid-mounted V8 supported by air-to-water intercoolers produces 1,000 HP in the "BEAST MODE" setting. Thanks to its light weight aerospace grade carbon fiber body Beast weighs in at 2,980 lbs.

Design

BEAST was designed 100% in-house by Rezvani Motors. Its design keeps true to the original Beast from 2014 and keeps its signature low-set headlights resembling predatory eyes. It has a signature design element on the side that is also present on the Rezvani Tank. Beast also features unique Dragon Wing doors.

BEAST's targa top is completely removable providing an open-air experience and allowing driver and passenger access to the exhilarating exhaust sound.

Inspiration and origins

Every Rezvani vehicle has design elements seen on military jets and vehicles. "Growing up on the base at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and watching my father fly the F-4 Phantom, I was mesmerized by the power and beauty of military fighter jets and military vehicles", said Ferris Rezvani, CEO of Rezvani Motors.

Engineering

BEAST was designed and engineered digitally in 3D CAD over 3 years. Its lightweight body is made with a special carbon fiber using high-temperature resins that are used in the latest generation of US fighter jets like the F-35. An 8 speed Termec Dual Clutch transmission allow for lightning fast shifts.

BEAST is the only supercar with features never before offered on a car of this class. Rezvani is proud to offer the same military features offered on Rezvani Trucks as options on BEAST.
