Leslie Saalburg (1897-1974) was an American artist hailing from New York, where he received his formal art education at the Art Students League of New York. Saalburg was most recognized for his paintings, mosaics, illustrations and fresco murals, as well as his realism style. His works primarily centered on interior views, figure and genre subjects. SaalburgÕs art has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at the Society of Illustrators, of which he was also affiliated.
