Another very special piece of radiator art was a dancing elephant that found its way on to Ettore Bugatti’s dream car, the 16-cylinder “Royal”. While Ettore was a gifted car builder, the solid silver elephant wasn’t his creation, but a design by his artist brother, Rembrandt. Connoisseurs will know that, by around 1905, Rembrandt Bugatti had already created dozens of animal sculptures. However, the dancing elephant did not find its way onto a car until long after his death.
