A model year before the introduction of the subcompact 1995 Pontiac Sunfire production models, Pontiac exhibited the golden tone Sunfire Speedster concept at the 1994 Chicago show. Unique features include the hood scope, side exhausts, and built-in spoiler over rear deck. A 241 horsepower, 2.4-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine supplied the power to the two-passenger Speedster.

So close to the production model...but so far away. *sigh* I wish mine looked like that :-)

Me too... wow, I had no idea.

I'd like to do my interior two-tone like that (brown and gray, not orange).

I hate how production cars are so different than concept cars, i would totally love alot of cars if they stayed true to the concept. this is really close but not in many ways...

Wow, rear driver side quarter panel, looks like a 90's viper with pontiac far and attitude, I salute the pontiac designers, from one to another, the 90's really had some beautiful cars

I remember seeing this car at the Design Staff back in the early 90's, before it was shown at the NAIAS. It was stunning. After the car made its rounds the U.S. show circuit, it was shown in the GM display at the Toronto Molson Indy. I was able to get my brother-in-law a seat in it, as I knew the GM show car coordinator personally. My B-I-L was thrilled. Car still looks good today.
