2005 Daihatsu SK Tourer
Bilder: Daihatsu
SK-Tourer (SK stands for "soukai," meaning "invigorating" in Japanese.)
Japan is awash with small, quirky, 660-cc minivans, but the SK Tourer concept is clearly something different. It forgoes the boxy, anti-design look in favor of a smooth, attractive, Eurocentric silhouette that's all curves, and adds a big glass roof and a set of snazzy crystal-cut headlamps. This little Daihatsu MPV seats four. Another one of Daihatsu's "concepts" that looks all but production ready, the SK Tourer has turbo power and a continuously variable transmission.
