2003 Suzuki Mobile-Terrace

Довольно необычный концепт – Suzuki Mobile Terrace. Передвижная терраса, стало быть. Компания поступила бесхитростно – позаимствовала у своего американского партнера General Motors Corp. известную по предыдущим автосалонам автономную платформу на топливных элементах e-Motion/Hy-Wire. Но если GM намеревалась строить на этой платформе люксовый седан, то японцы сгородили на ней мини-вэн на шестерых, с тремя парами сидений.

Нижняя часть немаленького (4050х1695х1740 мм, колесная база 3000 мм) кузова непрозрачная, белая; верхняя полностью выполнена из тонированного стекла. Крыша поднимается, как крылья птицы. Боковые двери сдвигаются, вперед и назад соответственно, в образующийся широкий проем можно выдвинуть часть пола – вот вам и терраса.

Внутренний декор выполнен в стиле 60-х годов, в желто-зеленых тонах, а ковровое покрытие вообще напоминает хипповый Volkswagen Microbus тех лет.
