In 1953 Fiat introduced a new 1100 saloon, estate and convertible but turned to Pininfarina for a coupé edition. The Italian coachbuilder obliged with this, based on the 1100 TV (Turismo Veloce), the sporty version of the 1100. Around 780 were built between 1954 and 1956.
The new bourgeoisie's car par excellence that was prepared for the exciting years of the economic boom, the Fiat 1100 was customized in various models and versions. Also the great coachbuilders noticed and decided to transform her into a small custom-built car. For the 1953 Paris Motor Show, Pininfarina created the Fiat 1100/103 Turismo Veloce Coupé, an elegant and balanced sports car.
The following year the Fiat 1100/103 TV coupé was presented at the 36th Turin Motor Show. Among the select few who at the time had the privilege to own this berlinetta, we remember a young Umberto Agnelli who used the car in a series of competitions with excellent results.
The Fiat 1100/103 Turismo Veloce Coupé Pininfarina fascinates with its elegance, purity of line and extreme attention to every detail.
The engine is capable of 50 HP at 5400 rpm, which allows the Fiat 1100/103 TV Coupé Pininfarina to reach a speed of 150/155 kph.
