1977 Ogle Triplex Glassback 10-20

The 10/20 Glassback was the second concept car based on a production car Ogle designed for Triplex. It is based on the Austin Princess which had a fast back. 10/20 was an updated laminate glass Triplex had introduced which was much safer than traditional laminated glass. Other features; the sunroof was 3 mm thick safety glass, the thinest ever achieved. It was opened by bending the glass at it’s trailing edge using a cam. The graphics on the glass was fired onto the glass making it very durable. The rear portion of the car with the dropped rear quarter glass influenced a number of Asian production cars.
